SICK/FIT NOTE UNDER 7 DAYS
If you have been ill for 7 days or fewer, you do not necessarily need a GP note.
If you have been unwell for under 7 days you can self-certify using this HMRC form. If your employer still wants a GP letter for an illness of under 7 days, this may incur a fee. Please use our online request form.
