Patient Participation Group (PPG)

Patient Participation Group (PPG)
Your voice matters — and we'd love to hear it!
Our Patient Participation Group brings together patients, carers, and practice staff to help shape the care we provide. It's a friendly, welcoming space where your ideas and experiences can make a real difference.
What is a Patient Participation Group (PPG)?
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of volunteer patients, carers, and practice staff who work together to improve the GP practice. The NHS requires every practice to have a PPG.
The aim is to ensure the practice provides the best possible care and meets the needs of its patients.
The PPG gives patients a voice, it's a chance to:
- Share ideas
- Give feedback
- Help shape how services are delivered
The group meets periodically (either in person or online) to discuss topics such as:
- Access to appointments
- Communication
- Health campaigns
- Community well-being
Why join?
- Have your say — share your experiences and ideas for improving the practice
- Work in partnership — help us understand what matters most to patients
- Support your community — promote health and wellbeing for everyone
- Stay informed — hear about new services and changes at the practice
- Make a difference — influence positive change in local healthcare
Who can join?
Anyone registered with the practice is welcome — patients of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. We value diverse voices to make sure the PPG truly represents our patient community.
